You'd need a separate audio editor, video editor, clip creator, show notes writer, and VA to coordinate. That's $500–1500+ per episode AND managing 4–5 contractors. Before your first episode is filmed, there's enormous setup work: creating graphics, licensing music, designing openers/closers, sourcing b-roll, and building lower thirds. We do understand that some clients are far away, for remote episodes, we provide a professional setup guide and handle all post-production on your recorded files. After our initial coffee meetup, we schedule a 30-minute onboarding session. We then build your branded templates — this takes 1–2 weeks. Most clients go from first contact to first published episode in under two weeks.
100% yes. You own every second of your audio, every frame of finished video, every word of your show notes. If you ever leave CastLab, you walk away with your complete published content library and full control of your podcast channels. This includes the graphics package we develop for you. The only thing we can't give you is the licensed music because of the way the licensing works but previous episodes are completely covered. Just not future episodes but I can assist in finding you affordable new music going forward. Just ask.
Our Empire package includes extensive content strategy. We offer optional quarterly strategy sessions where we review your analytics, suggest topic directions, and help plan your content calendar. We also will assist in content strategy and expansion in other tiers, just not as intensive as in the Empire tier where we spend multiple hours monthly working on increasing reach and engagement.
